Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and use of darts lanes and pool tables and other facilities at The Darts Loft (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By making a booking or using our facilities, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Bookings & Payment

  • All lane and table hire is charged by the hour (or part thereof).
  • Bookings may be made in advance online, by phone, or in person, subject to availability.
  • Full payment may be required at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings where payment is not received.
  • Walk-ins are welcome but cannot be guaranteed availability.

2. Cancellations & Amendments

  • Cancellations made 24 hours before the booking start time may be eligible for a refund or reschedule, at our discretion.
  • Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged in full.
  • We reserve the right to amend or cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances (including maintenance, safety issues, or events beyond our control). In such cases, a refund or alternative booking will be offered.

3. Arrival & Late Starts

  • Please arrive 10 minutes before your booking. Late arrival will not extend your allocated hire time.
  • Unclaimed bookings may be released after 15 minutes without notice.

4. Age Restrictions & Alcohol

  • Our venue is licensed under UK law. Valid photo ID may be required.
  • Alcohol will only be served to persons aged 18 or over.
  • Under-18s must be supervised by an adult at all times where permitted.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service and/or participation to anyone who appears intoxicated or behaves inappropriately.

5. Use of Equipment

  • All darts, cues, balls, and related equipment remain the property of the venue.
  • Equipment must be used safely and for its intended purpose only.
  • Throwing darts outside designated areas, misuse of cues, or reckless behaviour is strictly prohibited.
  • We reserve the right to end a session without refund if safety rules are ignored.

6. Damage & Loss

  • Customers are responsible for any damage caused to equipment, lanes, tables, or venue property during their booking.
  • We reserve the right to charge for repair or replacement of damaged or lost items.
  • Normal wear and tear excepted.

7. Conduct & Safety

  • All guests must behave respectfully towards staff and other customers.
  • Abusive, aggressive, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the premises without refund.
  • Please follow all staff instructions and displayed safety guidance at all times.

8. Personal Belongings

  • Personal belongings are brought onto the premises at your own risk.
  • We accept no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.

9. Liability

  • Use of darts lanes and pool tables is at your own risk.
  • We shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage except where caused by our negligence or where liability cannot be excluded under UK law.
  • Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Right to Refuse Entry or Service

We reserve the right to refuse entry, service, or participation to any individual or group at our discretion, including for safety, licensing, or behavioural reasons.

11. Changes to Terms & Conditions

  • These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time.
  • The latest version will be available at the venue and/or on our website.
  • Continued use of the facilities constitutes acceptance of any changes.

12. Participant-to-Participant Exclusion Disclaimer

By entering and participating in activities at The Darts Loft, including but not limited to darts, pool/billiards, league play, tournaments, and recreational games, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Assumption of Risk
You understand that participation in darts, pool, and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to accidental contact with darts, cue sticks, balls, equipment, or other participants. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
2. Participant Responsibility
You acknowledge that injuries or damages may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of other participants. You accept full responsibility for your own conduct and agree to exercise caution and good judgment at all times.
3. Participant-to-Participant Exclusion
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that the venue, its owners, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, and representatives shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or claim arising from the acts or omissions of other participants or guests.
4. Release of Claims
You hereby release and discharge the venue from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, or liability arising out of or related to injuries or damages caused by other participants.
5. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the venue from any claims brought by other participants arising out of your conduct while on the premises.
6. Compliance with Rules
You agree to comply with all posted rules, safety guidelines, and staff instructions. Failure to comply may result in removal from the premises without refund.
By remaining on the premises and/or participating in activities, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and voluntarily accepted this disclaimer.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
